Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday questioned why Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has suddenly ceased discussing Ambani and Adani in this election, hinting at a possible "secret agreement."
He stated in Telangana, "For the past five years, the Congress leader has been reiterating this. When his Rafale controversy fizzled out, he shifted focus – from five industrialists to Ambani-Adani, Ambani-Adani, Ambani-Adani. But since the election announcement, their criticism of the duo has ceased. I urge the people of Telangana to question: How much have they gained from Ambani-Adani? How much illicit money has changed hands? Have cash-loaded vehicles reached the Congress? What's the undisclosed agreement? Why the sudden halt in criticizing Ambani-Adani? Something seems awry."
